Two must-see places are 13 meters high lighthouse built in 1864 and evaluated cistern capable of storing ten million liters of fresh water. This is the must-visit places in Goa.

Anjuna beach (One Of The Best Places To Visit In Goa):- Located just 8 km away in the west of Mapusa town, this beach is blessed with a bizarre array of red laterite rocks. It is beautifully embellished with picturesque sceneries and so the place is breathtakingly beautiful. Watching sunset here cannot be matched anywhere else. Serene, calm and enriching, this beach will get you close to yourself and nature. Hours will go like minutes sitting at this beach and listening to musical waves. This is one of the best places to visit in Goa.

Chapora Fort:- Chapora fort is located in north Goa overlooking the Vagator beach and lies at a distance of about 10 km. from Mapusa. Shahpura is another name for the Chapora fort. From the fort, one can get a commanding view of the Vagator beach, Ozran Beach, Morjim Beach and the mouth of Chapora river. Popularly also known as “Dil Chahta hai fort”, as this famous Bollywood movie was shot here. With the amazing view in its pocket if you are lucky enough you might even get your eyes on dolphins! Dudhsagar waterfall:- The most mesmerizing beauty you can ever witness. Dudhsagar which literally means sea milk, this four-tier waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in India Take one day out to visit this place as it is situated around 80 kilometers from north Goa, but no worries, plenty of transportation mediums are available, you can book a cab or simply drive up to the destination. Once you reach check post, forest officers and locals will guide to further tour. You will have to drop your car there as only official cars are allowed in dense jungle. 500 rupees invested here won’t let you down. And don’t forget to carry your swimsuits, swimming here you just can’t miss, it’s an unforgettable experience. And if you are lucky enough you can recreate “Chennai express” scenes too, you can always check train schedule there.

Bom Jesus Basilica:- This a UNESCO heritage site, this church is world renowned and still host the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. The interesting thing about the saint’s mortal remains is that it is extremely well preserved. Even today, thousands of visitors come here to witness this. The church is located in Old, Goa near Gandhi Circle, Old Goa Rd, Velha Goa.
